Oxford Municipal Light Plant

Built in 1913, this light plant is still in operation today. We are only I of 4 self-generating plants left in the State of Nebraska. The plant generates electricity in times of high demand or when main line power fails. This is a great asset to our village for it has kept the lights on during serve storms.
