Williams Stegomastodon Site
General Information
Located on a county road about 2.2 miles east of Trenton or 1.6 miles south and 0.3 miles west of Massacre Canyon Monument on US Hwy 34. Discovered in November of 1996 by Jerry Williams, the Stegomastodon was excavated by staff and students from the University of Nebraska.
